Formally...consultant, teacher, writer Who is Pamela? The eternal question! Formally, Pamela Gerloff holds a doctorate in Human Development from Harvard University (the Graduate School of Education). As founder and president of Compelling VisionTM, she helps people live their life purpose, their joy, and their dreams. She consults with individuals and organizations, leads workshops, teaches, writes, and lectures--on topics related to change, life purpose, education, and human development. She is also founder of the New Education Network: A Better OptionTM. Its purpose is to create a new form of education that enables everyone to discover their life purpose and pursue their dreams. Informally...a theme of destiny Informally, Pamela is a little harder to describe. As a child she was fascinated by stories of destiny, primarily stories about the impossibility of avoiding it! She has finally given in to hers and discovered that in our natural destiny lies our joy. Reconnection to purpose and destiny One of her major concerns about schools as we know them today is that they disconnect children from their natural destiny and their natural knowing (not to mention from other people and their own communities). The New Education Network: A Better OptionTM is intended to enable us all to stay connected to our true life purpose and natural destiny, as well as our own selves, our families, and our communities. A dream unfolding, a new way of change In Pamela's life (as in so many people's lives), various threads have taken some time to weave themselves together. This is an exciting time for her as so many aspects of her past and future are coming together right now. The Miracle ZoneTM, for Pamela, is the unfolding of a long-held dream. In order to create the kinds of changes we need in the world (especially in education), we need a new way of change, a new understanding of change, a wholly new approach to change--because our old models will not be able to penetrate the walls that prevent natural evolution from occurring. Gently, joyfully, gracefully For many years, Pamela has sought to understand the underlying mechanisms of change, with the intention of facilitating both individual and collective transformation gently, joyfully, and gracefully.
